Contact Hillcrest web design and we will go through your free consultation. This is where we will discuss what you need and want for your website. We will discuss concept development, colour schemes, images and site navigation design. We will also look at the costs involved.

Domain name registration & hosting

We will then register your domain name and set up your web hosting account where the web pages will reside. Payment required at this stage. This is where we begin the design, layout and building process of your web pages based on the information gathered from you up to this point. Our websites are made using standards-compliant CSS templates which can be manipulated to suit your specific needs.

Website development and evaluation

While your website is under construction it will be placed in the development folder on our website so that it can be viewed by you. The address of the site will be emailed to the client when work commences on site construction. As the site grows you will be able to view the changes daily as we will publish the changes as they are made. What this means is you can provide us with feedback on things that we are doing and changes you want to make as the site development continues.

Maintenance

At some point you will want to make changes and add content to your website. Changes will be made usually within 24 hours upon receiving your requests via email. Free maintenance is available for the first 2 weeks after your new website has been uploaded to the Internet, this will allow for minor changes to your site, conditions apply. Maintenance is quoted on a hourly rate or there part of. Minimum time requirement is 15 minutes. We don't charge any on-goings, retainers, or programmed maintenance fees, and future work on your site will be charged at our scheduled rate at the time, and will only be performed at your request.

Hosting

When we have received payment for the website we will upload the website to your hosting server enabling visitors to reach your website using your unique domain name. Hillcrest web design use Net Registry as our preferred Internet hosting supplier. The economy hosting packages starts at $15.95 per month and includes: 100Mb space / 5Gb transfer + 20 x 100mb mail accounts.
